Working with Aerotas

How it Works

Working with Aerotas is Easy: Define your project boundary, select the product, upload your data.

The Aerotas process is designed to be simple from the client side: define the area of interest, choose the right scope, send the project context, and move into production with clear expectations around what will be delivered.

1. Define the project boundary

Start by creating a KML or KMZ file that outlines the area you'd like drafted. If your drafted area is significanctly smaller than the area you plan to fly, create a boundary for the flight, and drafting area, and save as a single KML. Create a KML / KMZ with Google Earth.

2. Create the project in our Web App

Once the boundary is ready, the next step is to create the project in the Aerotas web app or contact the team directly when you need help choosing the right service. Aerotas uses per-project quoting so scope, timing, and pricing are clear before work begins.

3. Move through production and delivery

From there, the workflow depends on the service: processing only, drafted deliverables, Atlas, or mission planning support. In every case, the goal is the same: turn the project inputs into usable deliverables without creating unnecessary operational drag for our clients.

Ready to start?

If you already have the project boundary and a rough idea of scope, the next step is to request a quote or talk through the workflow.
